Conspirators of Pleasure (1996) Top 10 worst new to me films: 1. The Visit (2015) 2. Monster a-Go Go (1965) 3. The Creeping Terror (1964) 4. The Beach Girls and the Monster (1965) 5. The Beast of Yucca Flats (1961) 6. Playing with Dolls (2015) 7. Night of the Dribbler (1990) 8. It's Alive! (1969) 9. The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence) (2015) 10. Waking Life (2001) The 'new to me' list currently stands at 447 titles out of a total of 551 watched thus far. The main changes to the best new to me films being the inclusion of the fantastic Symptoms and The Witch, with the main changes within the worst new to me films being The Visit, which at time of writing is the worst film I've seen all year, and Playing with Dolls taking the number six spot. THE WITCH was one of the best this year. DIRTY GRANDPA-What were all the negative reviews about? Efron ain't scared to take the piss from himself and De Niro was hilariously foul-mouthed! He can't be Noodles/Jake La Motta/Vito Corleone/Johnny Boy all the time...  ROGUE ONE was also a highlight. One of the worst? That Ghostbusters farce..... the only thing that brought a smile to my face was Murray and Ackroyd's cameos....Who you gonna call? -Dirty Grandpa! Frankenhooker likes this.

I watched Dirty Grandpa on a flight and laughed like a drain. It's not something I'll watch again or buy, but it achieves what it sets out to do. I've seen much, much worse.

I've logged 261 films in 2016, not all of them were first time viewings, some of my favourite films I've watched this year were repeat viewings. However, out of the films which were new to me and came out this year, my top ones were Captain America: Civil War, Nocturnal Animals, The Girls With All The Gifts, Arrival and Your Name. The worst ones were Suicide Squad, The Boss and Absolutely Fabulous the Movie. The best films I've watched this year which were new to me, but not new films were Ivan's Childhood, A Touch of Zen, Late Spring and Grey Gardens. The worst films I watched this year which were new to me were The Adventures of Hercules, Hex, Contamination and Fear and Desire.
