Actor John Scott Martin shows the reality of playing a Dalek during the filming of 'The Dalek Invasion Of Earth'



What I like about this picture is that it shows proper English stiff-upper-lip, the spirit of the Blitz and...um...keeping up appearances

Even after the planet has been invaded and devastated, all the curtains in the windows are still nice and tidy!

Mind you, either JSM had got bigger or the Daleks has shrunk by their next appearance in 'The Chase'

For a low budget film, there are an awful lot of crew!

Low budget but still a studio pic. Shot at Universal if i recall from reading about it.

Note that the cardboard cut-outs, that were used to bulk out the number of Daleks on screen, are in black and white!
