Thanks for the heads up Daemonia I've snagged a copy of this brand new & sealed for £5.99 off a UK seller on Ebay.

I really want to get the Steelbook but, because I really have the DVD and BD in order to review the release (I plan to watch the film and go through it with both commentaries this afternoon/evening), I'm not sure I can justify the expenditure just for the packaging. I think time will tell and it will inevitably end up in my collection.

Got mine this morning.

What the bloody hell is going on with the packaging?

Paper cover stuck on the back with all the specs and stuff, but this passes under the bottom round to the front, so you can't open the box unless you remove this (or cut it). Take the paper cover off the back to reveal the old poster, but then what do you do with the cover and specs sheet. It doesn't fit inside the case.

The old poster? So is it the pic all the websites show or the same artwork as the Vipco cover/Eureka dvd?

Yep. The front is as you've seen on all the websites and the back has the old vipco poster.

Will take a photo if I can get away from this sev1 issue, work has had me dealing with all day.

Cool. I was a little disappointed that it didn't have the original artwork but since it's on the back, it's all good.

Mine came this morning too - gonna watch it tonight.

Yeah, the packaging is a bit weird. They did the same with the Metropolis steelbook too.

I just peel mine off of the sticky dots every time I open the case and then stick it back over once I've closed it again.

But then you can't see the picture on the back, which is better than the front IMO.
