Speaking of UK Blu releases, anyone know what's going on with the Elm Street boxset? Retailers seem to be pulling it rather sharpish. Amazon aren't stocking it, only market sellers. HMV have changed the listing to 'dispatched in 5 to 8 days', which doesn't bode well. It's only Play that seem to still be adevertising as 'in stock'. Has there been a problem causing Warner to withdraw this title? It all seems a bit odd. I was going to grab a copy, but now I'm hesitant.

they might have not got stock in on time.
Zavvi state dispatched in 3 days atm

You may well be right, Nekro. But you have to admit that it seems odd that a major studio/distributor like Warner Bros wouldn't get stock to retailers in time.

I dunno, the same things happening with Jackie Brown. I believe Amazon only started shipping today, HMV and Play have no stock at all.

Got QUATERMASS & THE PIT bd yesterday. Wonder who the brilliant chap was that decided it was a good idea to put a sticker on the nice slipcover, the one that would likely tear the Hell out of it should anyone try to take the sticker off? Stupid marketing bimbos.
