Mail sent too.

Maybe if enough people let them know, they may take some notice.

Not holding out a lot of hope, but if we don't tell them, they'll never know and might think that this is acceptable.

I've sent one too, will be my first letter of complaint to a film company. Be interesting to see what happens.

Agreed
I have always said (and other of course) that the regional coding is stupid to say the least, whether its dvd and blu ray
I have the excellent Criterion 2xdvd VIDEODROME and very happy with it
Companies here and in the US are just in it for the money, with no thought for the fans, I know its been said before but its a fact

Ditto. I've always considered buying Last Tango in Paris on DVD but reached the stage a couple of years ago where I decided not to as I was waiting for an announcement like this.

I haven't picked up the US Pelham disc as it was a Best Buy exclusive for a while. Looks like I'll be grabbing this one. I imagine it'll be the same transfer.

Coming 4th May 2012:

Much as I hope this will be the long-rumoured remastered edition, I suspect we'll be getting the same six year old transfer that's been re-released in the US several times now.

Hope I'm wrong!
