This was the perfect opportunity for MGM to do the smart thing, and use the original theatrical artwork.
I never seen the point of a Bond boxset as it will never be complete as there is always a new bond being released.

On fact, I could be wrong. This box could have 22 cases inside it.

I'd love to see the Bonds released with original artwork, but that's too much to ask of the studio that introduced the shit, generic looking covers which have become a staple for many others.

Still, those transfers sure are pretty. I watched the US disc of Licence to Kill a couple of weeks ago and it looks lovely

Apparently, the retail price in the US will be $300. F**k that!

Roughly $14 a pop. You know that once its released in the UK (my guess is at between £275-200) it'll be down to £100 in a matter of month. I for one will not be suckered into paying full price for these films again.

Pretty decent value then

Also, I maybe mistaken but I have a feeling that Licence to Kill is the shorter PG-13 cut. Can anyone confirm? Last DVD release (ultimate edition) marked the widescreen debut of the uncut print and I'm convinced it's longer than the Blu-ray.

I hope they do separates. I only want the other Connery's and OHMSS.

Also, will they drop the mono mixes from the UK ones again? It's the only reason I bought the U.S. discs of the first four.

Can I make a confession? I've never seen a Bond film.

Strange really, but not a judgmental remark
