I don't have a particular issue with it being there, but thought the steelbook would be an opportunity – for better or worse – to do something different with existing artwork and imagery.

For example, the Second Sight steelbook release of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has the same picture of Leatherface as most other releases, but without the lens flare on his right hand side, replacing it with a picture of the house and windmill.

Another Scarface steelbook? Grrrrrr. Can't we get a blu-ray with some of the original poster art?

Slap in the face that even the War Dogs does a Scarface steelbook better.

i do think the majority of steelbooks should use the original posters as covers , a lot of these stylised designs are misfires, the evil dead 2 steelbook has terribe artwork while the standard has the iconic grinning skull cover. I remember getting one of arrow's Vincent Price steelbooks in hmv and the guy behind counter commented how great it looked with original art on.

Steelbooks were born for original poster art. It's beyond me the labels and studios that think new designs are necessary.

This has to be amongst one of the greatest original posters ever and would look amazing on a steelbook but what gets put out is generic shit like these
