Its actually a song about drugs and someone needing "sweet release" from their troubles in life. I like to listen to Arms of the angel when im really badly depressed. |

its got to be Animalympics (1980) for me. Watched this to death when I was younger and it still holds a place in my affections. Plus, it has a cracking soundtrack by Graham Gouldman of 10cc fame. Dont laugh too much!

One of my top guilty pleasures has to be The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas starring Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton.A film full of fantastic songs, there's nothing quite like seeing Burt and Dolly singing away to each other in their underwear And never mind Witney Houston,TBLHIT features the best version of I Will Always Love You.I've got a tear in my eye just thinking about it! |

The only films I own that I guess border on the embarrassing are: Father of the Bride 1&2 (what can I say I'm a Steve Martin completist) and that Jeff Goldblum/Emma Thompson CLASSIC 'The Tall Guy' lol. oh, and lots of period dramas. Most of the Merchant Ivory productions, as well as BBC period dramas, and Jane Eyre (3 versions), Rebecca, Mill on the Floss, Wuthering Heights, etc. I guess I'm a sort of weird Victorian wannabe lol. And I am not going to be embarrassed about owning Sting's DVD Bring on the Night as its based on the creation of one of my all time favourite albums

Presumably the (possibly blind) officer concerned had problems noticing Dolly Parton & Burt Reynolds on the cover, plus all mention of it being a musical. |

I'll embarrass myself even further by admiting that I own Vanity Fair starring Reese Witherspoon, which incidentally, was on tv recently. Quote:

They also confiscated Samuel Fuller's The Big Red One. With a title like that it MUST be a sex film about a man's tallywhacker (ignoring the cover showing a WW2 medal & Lee Marvin in an army uniform). |
