Upcoming Non-UK Blu-ray Releases

I think one of the reasons that the effects in Jurassic Park hold up as well as they do is because there were huge models as well as CGI so the actors weren't always looking at a tennis ball in front of a green screen but we're really interacting with an enormous Tyrannosaurus rex head.

plus the fact it was ILM who did the effects
these days most producers dont wanna pay ILM the fees they charge so very few movies get done by them.

Annoyingly, this is a Best Buy US exclusive. Not out until May and they'll probably have it for 6 months so won't go on general release until November sometime. No idea if it'll get a Uk release at the moment.

Blue Velvet in France... Good price as well but I'll have to wait to see if French subs are forced..

Very cool news. I may hold out for the US disc, but it IS Blue Velvet, so I may get the French release as well.

It is a very tough decision but I don't think I'll jump too early and wait until all the specifications and packaging is known before buying a copy (or two!).

I'll wait until I've seen Vampire Circus, which I have recently ordered from Amazon.com and this would also be a blind buy as I haven't seen it... yet.
