Just came across this while browsing diabolik - Radley Metzger's The Image due to be released by Synapse in June.

I have the OOP DVD, but will be picking up a copy of the Blu.

I've never seen it nor, before now, heard of Image. It sounds interesting enough and I imagine you'll sing its praises -- is it really that good?

It's pretty good. Definitely one of the better erotic-shockers.

I mainly mentioned it as the Synapse DVD is OOP.

It's supposed to be out on the 19th but I very much doubt it.
I used to have the Vipco release of this, but I'm guessing that was cut as I found it to be a lot tamer than I was expecting ; I would definitely be interested in seeing this in HD.

The BMX Bandits and Stunt Man BDs are must buys - those covers look amazing! I haven't seen BMX Bandits in at least 20 years, and have never seen The Stunt Man, but I have heard good things about it.

I see that Warner Home Video has announced Sylvester Stallone Blu-ray releases for the 16th of August in the US, including Assassins, Cobra, Demolition Man and The Specialist.

Finally be able to get shot of my awful "Pizza Hut" Hong Kong BD of Demolition Man.

I'm almost the same except I haven't seen BMX Bandits either but will probably end up importing both of them because of things I've read or, in the case of BMX Bandits, what I saw on the Not Quite Hollywood documentary.
