My ex-wife was a fan so I bought it for her when we were together a few years back. Features were definitely better than the film. I remember there was one hilarious line in the booklet where , I think it was Bays prof, who says.." I never saw anything more impressive than Michael Bays home movies".

Something to that accord anyway. I'm guessing they probably wanted to put out a more mainstream film, like the did with The Rock. Those aren't the type of Criterion I collect though. I'm more likely to pick up Gate of Hell if it comes out.

I used to have the rock criterion edition, until I realised even with the criterion label it was still a mediocre film at best so I sold it!
