I've heard of it, only from this place, but I've never seen it. I think it caused some controversy when released due to it's similarity with another shark film that I can't remember the name of right now

Indeed it did.

As Italian rip-offs go, it is a decent (and notorious) entry and quite revered within the cult film community. However, it's not a release that appeals to me personally but I know it has its fans, which is why I thought to share the news on here.

If i want to watch a film with nicked footage* from Jaws then i may as well just watch Jaws.

*Not strictly true but it didn't impress Universal did it?

Really prefer this which is closest to the uk VHS release.

Stagefright was one of my earliest exposures to italian horror so I have a deep affection for it.

Does anyone here have a better knowledge than me on the details of Ralph Bashki's Coonskin Blu-ray? Is it only released in this format in germany and can i purchase this from amazon? Has anyone else bought it
