Artwork on blu-ray.com Think I'll stick with my German disc. Always hated this artwork.

Coming from Severin:

Quote:
Allan W. Steeve aka Alain Deruelle shared some very nice front of house stills from CANNIBAL TERROR's original theatrical run in Paris. For fans of the Eurocine gut muncher, Severin be releasing a double feature Blu-ray of CANNIBAL TERROR and DEVIL HUNTER in July with new interviews with Deruelle and actor Bert Altmann.

Artwork for Kino's Zonetroopers blu-ray. I'm guessing they didn't think the old "I want you" poster artwork was good enough. Shame.

My German is patchy at best, what are the issues with the UK release? Seems ok on my system but then I've been proved wrong in the past. It says something about lightening of the image I believe... Presumably then they have access to new materials.

There is nothing really wrong with the UK blu-ray. As far as I know, it's just a little bit brighter which can be a good thing for some displays. On others, the image will be too bright and you will have to modify gamma correction.
I suppose it could also be an isuee British TV set configuration vs. German TV set configuration. Some people complain about the same issue for example in the case of Zombie Flesh Eaters. But I'm really no expert on this, to be honest.

Me too - had uniformly good reviews too.

I won't be upgrading.
