Blue Velvet, also has one of the most chilling and bizarre acting performances that I have ever seen; from the late, great Dennis Hopper. Shocked me to the core when I first watched it at the tender age of 11! |

Mulholland Drive was the first David Lynch film I ever saw followed by Eraserhead and Lost Highway; I can't remember what came next but I was hooked.

That sounds like one reason to watch the film -- I'll let you know once I've seen it and then deleted it from my V+ box as I only have a few hours left!

Stay away from the computer and concentrate on the film as it requires 100% of your attention in order to you to follow it! Even then, you might be completely lost and have no idea what's going on. If that's the case, there is a great explanation in the extra features section which is properly worth watching after you've seen the film first and before you watch it a second time.

Isn't that the beauty of David Lynch's more abstract films?
