Just watched Taken. Pretty enjoyable in a mindless, Commando for the 21st century kinda way. Liam Neeson made quite a convincing badass.
Kyle likes this.

@Slicer, have you seen "Bat Pussy" yet? It's the strangest thing.

Watched Drew Barrymore's film Whip It, over the weekend, a pretty decent sports movie, also starring Elen Page, Juliette Lewis and Zoe Bell (Planet Terror).

That sounds like a fairly good cast.

I watched it about a week ago (recorded from Sky Movies) and had previously rented the Blu-ray and it is a pretty smart and enjoyable film with decent direction by Drew Barrymore who has gathered a brilliant ensemble cast who are all very good.

By the way, Zoe Bell was in Death Proof where she had a major role, but did have an uncredited appearance in Planet Terror!

I know what you mean. I saw it at the cinema and thought it was boring, watched it when it appeared on Sky Movies and have since rented the Grindhouse Blu-ray -- it doesn't get any better!
