I watched Frenzy again last night (4th time I think?) as my girl had never seen it. I still think it's one of Hitchcock's best "late period" films, but the bit with the potato truck is still like finding a rabbit turd in your Ben and Jerry's.

Haha that made me laugh. I've only seen this once, a few years ago now, and it's one of those films I keep meaning to go back to but that scene does stand out and ruin the mood of the film.

finaly got around to watching Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia, bloody good it was too, Warren Oates was hardcore in the film, he kinda reminded me of Porter in Payback. Very Cool, it's weird how this was made only three years after straw Dogs and the visual style of Peckinpah was completely different.
Pete and Gojirosan like this.

I tried watching Nikos The Impailer last night. Made it half way though. Bad acting, bad dialouge, tonnes of annoying exposition and a stupid looking bad guy in a suit of armour. Saying it sucks would be a compliment for this piece of rancid human waste.

I guess it may have got a bit better in the second half, but I doubt it.

Anyone got a good reason why I should watch the rest?

To keep it short and simple: no.

Here's why:

I've seen me a lot of weird shit in my day (e.g. Devils of Darkness - I should have been awarded the Medal of Honor just because I watched it till the end) - but I ain't never seen a one-legged stripper movie like this.

It would be interesting to know why you bought it in the first place, though.

Greetings!

Maybe.

I've watched Psycho yesterday. The last time I had seen it - well, I can't remember, about a century ago, I guess. To be blunt: it is still overwhelming.
Fantastic black and white cinematography, clever script, good pace, a remarkable score, an outstanding performance by Anthony Perkins and - definitely some great inspiration for later movies. Why did I think of John Carpenter's Halloween more than once during the movie?

Very great flick indeed.

Greetings!

That's easy, I didnt buy it. I streamed it for free on Love Film. I was hoping it might be as entertaining as Zombie 90: Extreme Pestilence (also by Adreas Schnass).
