The Spanish R2 release has English subs, but at £25 is a bit pricey. I got the R1 for £14. Not sure when there'll be a UK release.

Reckon I'll add it to my christmas list - just not getting any time to watch stuff with work at the moment, and when I do I'm too tired. Been trying to watch Farewell for the past three nights - reckon I need to start again from the beginning . . .

I watched The Resident last week and found it to be a fairly poor offering in the 'stalker in the house' horror subgenre as the landlord just wasn't creepy enough and it was just one of those films which has been done before and been done better.

I assume by 'reboot', you mean the 1986 Cronenberg film. If so, it really doesn't have much in common with Kurt Neumann's 1958 movie which is much simpler as the scientist and the fly basically switch heads (though crucially not minds), so there is a scientist with a fly's head and claw for an arm who needs the fly with his head to try and reverse the process. As the film begins with the scientist crushed to death in a hydraulic press with everything else told in flashback, you know it isn't going to end well! Cronenberg's movie is superior in every facet, but the Neumann film is well worth watching and one I should really buy.
