Cop Out

Kevin Smith Project session 9

http://letterboxd.com/jmc/list/kevin-smith-project/

Dave: This is police brutality.
Jimmy Monroe: Not yet...

Movie making brutality... The direction itself is ok, the script is awful though. I can't stand Bruce Willis at the best of times, but oh my god... Not seen so much uninterested acting in a long time, no one seems to give a shit.

At least I won't have to watch this piece of crap again. I can forgive KS for this because he said he was just testing to see if he could make a studio movie, and yeah he can, it's just a shame it's no good, he needs to stick to Scott Mosier produced films and scripts he wrote himself.

X FROM OUTER SPACE. Absolutely bonkers Japanese Kaiju flick, with probably one of the most ridiculous looking monsters in Kaiju history. I loved evey minute of it.

Fantastic set, I watched trailer reel, and am very much looking forward to his other works, especially Black Sabbath and Baron Blood, hopefully Arrow can also get Shock, Hatchet For The Honeymoon and some of his other titles.
Bava rarely disappoints.

Must admit its very well made atmospheric tension etc everything about the film is there but there just something about the film and cant quite put my finger on but i realy could not get into it..

I was like that with Blade Runner. After forcing myself to watch it realized that I should trust my gut because I hated every second of it.
