'Halloween II' (Scream Factory). First watch in about twenty years. Got nothing on the original, but I still like it a lot. A masterpiece when compared to the other sequels!

I actually thought Jamie Foxx was really good in Django. Didn't play the typical fast talking badass that one might have thought Django would be written as. Credit to Tarantino and Foxx for making him more understated.... The true spaghetti western hero needs no dialogue!

Well it suits my opinion of the film.

Foxx, like the movie itself, is fantastic compared to movies in general, but as a Tarantino movie, and foxx compared to rest of the cast, is not very good and quite forgettable

Watched Django Unchained and it was good but well overhyped. I understand why the N word was used but it was overkill in a 2hr 45 min film it was said 113 times.

Leo was the best actor in it but he was no Hans Lander from Inglorious which I think is a better film. Foxx was mis cast and was too quiet for the role. I also think Quentin has gone a bit too powerful in Hollywood in the sense of an editor is scared to tell him to edit the film. A whole 45 mins could have been cut without any impact on the film.

Assault on Precinct 13 (1976) Mediabook Blu/DVD 3 disc edition
looks and sounds fantastic, if Scream Factory's region A upcoming version uses the same master those whom have that ordered should be well pleased. The mediabook image surpasses the Scandinavian blu which I recently sold on after buying this.

Also watched the trailer for the Robocop (2014) remake "Oh Dear!"

I think he should've done that Death Proof, might not have been so damn dull otherwise
