I've tried watching them both. I really did. I just didn't get it. I didn't feel anything when I was watching them. A friend/colleague tried explaining the difference to me, but he lost me halfway in.

 Tarzana, the Wild Girl aka Tarzana, sesso selvaggio (1969) Watched it on the new Code Red dvd (there was only an old SWV dvd-r I think?). Nothing unfamiliar if you've watched some old Tarzan films but the leading ladies are in top form and there's lots of nudity from all of them to enjoy (if you like that  ).Highly recommended for fans of Femi Benussi,Franca Polesello,Beryl Cunningham and Ken Clark.  It's from an old beat up release print but I enjoyed watching this one.

I like the Star Wars films just fine, but I caught a few mins of Phantom Menace one afternoon on ITV and that whole section about trade agreements, blockades, VAT rates etc is completely ridiculous and to my less than sharp brain rather incomprehensible...

For what it's worth I'm a huge fan of Wrath of Khan, Ricardo Montalban is one of the great villains of space opera...

See, I'm the opposite, never been a big fan of Star Trek myself, used to occasionally watch the original series on TV and the odd episode of TGN, but never really took to it.

I loved Star Wars from the first time I saw it on original release. I was 12 years old when I first saw it on general release here in the UK in 1978. The original versions of the films are the films I love. I'm the same, I watched the original Star Trek and some of the later series but I was not that bothered with it or interested in the films. |
