Switchblade Romance is really good (dunno why they didnt release it over here with its far better original title, High Tension), though yeah the ending is pretty frustrating, still not sure about it myself, i'll have to revisit it one day soon to make my mind up.

As for Maniac, Mr.Loops I'm surprised! But hey, different strokes for different folks Its a film I somehow manage to watch at least once a year, usually around easter time for some strange reason!

I also enjoyed Switchblade Romance - including the ending. It was the film that re-kindled my love of French horror cinema. I agree with what James and iluv said and would recommend Martyrs, Frontiers and Inside too if you haven't seen them.

Plus SR has an excellent Muse track in it's credits! Wasn't expecting that - especially since it's french.

Watched The Sister of Ursula last night... a fairly sleazy, but fun giallo.

Black Zoo stars Michael Gough

Yeah I enjoyed this. Shame there is no DVD available over here.
Something of a lost film sadly.

Recommend it in one of the threads, Angel. Who knows, it may get a DVD release

I watched Fido last night - and really enjoyed it. A very original take on zombies that's not only clever but quite funny too. Although I'd say they could've made more out of Billy Conley as the zombie.

Finally got to see The New York Ripper. Loved it, some great gore in it. The whole duck voice thing was a bit creepy

Ahh I absolutly LUV Tombs Of The Blind Dead, Bedorca! A great film, and IMO some of the best zombies EVER!

Quack Quack Quack mbv! Another great film. One of my favs of Shameless's!

Last night I watched Scream Bloody Murder and wasn't expecting much at all after looking at IMDb. But those IMDb-ers know nothing! It was EXCELLENT! Within the FIRST 18 minutes, I counted 5 people were murder - and this rate kept up all the way through! Thats about 1 murder every 5 minutes or so. I really enjoyed it! I'd recommend it to everyone! It was a bit like Maniac if you liked that (Loops, maybe you'll like this a bit more ) And it had some really quite tense scenes in there. Check it out if you can
