Ok he did a lot of other great things, But not Dracula like the film but god was he bad. English accent that goes up there with dick van dykes cockney accent. Really enjoyed matrix, second was ok but the third was just awful.

god bless him I really don't think I've seen a film of his I didn't enjoy. That includes 47 ronin which I actually really liked.

I wonder if we will see bill and ted 3, know the scripts finished but they are looking to get money to make it last time I heard.

Edit

Decided to give the conjuring another go and this time give it my full attention.

Dust Devil - in many ways this is a flawed film - hammy acting, clunky dialogue and a healthy layer of cheese - but, despite all this, I really enjoyed it. What sets this apart for me is that a real sense of identity, by which I mean it's unmistakably South African - not just because of the accents and the (admittedly breathtaking) landscapes but thematically too and there's a genuine feeling of cultural tension throughout. I enjoyed Richard Stanley's 'Hardware' but this is in a different league in my opinion - decent gore too !

Surely this is due for a decent blu ray release - the Optimum DVD is OK but this would look amazing in HD

The conjuring

Excellent one of the best exorcism/ haunted house films I've seen in a long time. The last 20 minutes or so was terrifying I think I'll be sleeping with the lights on tonight, sometime since a film has left me feeling this uneasy. 9/10

I stopped at the wrong point. It really improved at the point I switched off the first time. Just shows don't judge something until you seen it all.

I've got it lined up to watch with my girlfriend at the weekend, she's not much of a horror fan so I'm slowly, but surely educating her

This island earth
The crawling eye
The green slime
It. Terror from beyond space
Fiend without a face
