Some interesting ideas and premise but Hooper doesn't manage to make them into an engaging film, had to turn it off at the halfway point.

You should really watch it until the end because the final act is very different to the first two, with greater tension, atmosphere and, of course, the 'final girl'.

I know it isn't Black Christmas or Halloween, but I think it's a pretty good slasher film.

I think i'm the only one on here who thinks Black Christmas is a piece of thoroughly over rated, foul mouthed tripe.

I didn't like it either, but I'm not a fan of many slashers to be honest.

The odd thing is i love slashers. This is supposedly the daddy of them all and i can't remember any kills from it, therefore it fails completely as a slasher film.

It must be a Bob Clark thing as i found the Porky's films poor and despise Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things.
