Knowing what Noah was like i'm hoping this isn't full of CGI nonsense to appeal to the Transformers crowd. |

The Reptile (1966) 9/10 Another little surprisingly excellent effort from Hammer, considering this isn't one of the more talked about films of theirs. Great parts and acting by Dr Franklin and Tom, the barkeeper, respectively. |

Lucifer's Angels, 2014. 8/10 This was awesome. 4 insane mental patients, doesn't get any better then that for me. Throw in some supernatural elements..wow, great watch. Whats keeping this film from a 9 even a 10 from me is the camera work, I should say editing. I felt it was all over the place. Sometimes you couldn't see much cause of the dark. The gore is fantastic and so was the storyline. I would love to see a sequel. Ex Machina, 2015. 5/10 A bit boring for me, predictable but pretty to look at, I kept looking at the clock too see how much time was left in the movie. Her robotty arms were creepy in one running sequence. Throwback, 2013. 7/10 aussie Bigfoot. : ) Streuth! The Redwood Massacre, 2014. 8/10 Gore, gore, blood, guts, more guts, axe. <3 UK slasher! __________________ |

I actually thought the giant CGI angels worked in regards the story. As for Exodus, as I said the divinity of god is played right down. Its a more believable story than DeMilles 1956 version, which I also liked.

THE GHOUL Boris Karloff stars as the titular ghoul in this b+w blu ray from Network. Poorly directed and badly acted, the whole thing looks like an amateur stage play at times. I'm a big fan of Karloff, but even he can't save this one. Being the UK's first ever talkie horror movie, it is an historically important film. Unfortunately, it's not a very good one. DON'T GO IN THE WOODS....ALONE! The second in my Crap Double Bill is this bloody awful slasher, featuring lots of unlikeable people being murdered by some bloke in a furry suit and some beads, for no apparent reason. Dreadful. |
