I know quite a few people who like to go cinema but wont and are put off by the prices, Like owt else years ago it was all about the fun experience of watching it on big screen. Now is all about raking in money, lets be fair if the brought the prices down to eg say £5 more people would go and more often, i certainly would thats for sure.
And as for the food prices i for certain would never buy anything sneak my own pop and bag of sweets for a £1 from poundland or somewhere.
Agree that the cost of a cinema trip these days is silly. When we were first married we didn't have a lot of money and used to go to the cinema all the time as it was a cheap night out. At one point we had Unlimited Cineworld Cards that we paid £12 a month for. Sometimes on a Saturday we would go down and watch 2 or 3 films back to back.

Fortunately, that's extremely unlikely.

I have a Cineworld Unlimited card and generally don't buy refreshments. If I do, it's just a coffee which, with 25% off due to the Unlimited card, isn't too bad. I can't remember the last time I bought food at a cinema.

Is there a plot to any of these films ? If there is I can't say I noticed and like the first in the series I couldn't make it all the way to the end I only watched it because it was on Syfy last night. I know these films are supposed to be mindless fun but it's heavy on mindless very light on fun just bloody annoying.

I hate these "oh, we're being deliberately bad" films. Hipster bullshit!

A good "bad" film is one that was made by somebody who genuinely tried, and failed. They may have failed because they did not have the technical know-how; the budget; or the talent. But they tried. And it's admirable to see that.

When I went to see Mad Max some guy pulled a carrier bag out of his back pack and proceeded to take out a Cornish pasty and a 2 litre bottle of coke

The Seasoning House.
Grim British "thriller" that starts off sour, then goes into Die Hard mode, then ends on an ambiguous note.
Recommended!!
Nice to see Kevin Howarth in something again btw.....
