What Films Have You Seen Recently? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457987031.833034.jpg Excellent, great cast and story that had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Thanks largely to Damon's performance which made you really feeling for his characters blight. A true testament to the human spirit. 9.2/10 ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457987244.206831.jpg Not overly scary but very atmospheric with some great acting from Fred Astaire, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Melvyn Douglas and John houseman. 7.8/10 ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457987583.252100.jpg This was a lot of fun, the film takes the usual Disney concepts of true love and love of first sight etc and turns them on their head. The heartwarming and funny story is help along by a host of interesting characters and a cast the looked like they had a great making the film. 9/10 Next up ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457987791.676327.jpg Finished Astro monster, so now watching this, a childhood favourite, don't now how many people know this the director of this film (Nick castle ) was Michael Myers in the original Halloween ( and the main star lance guest was in the second movie) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1457990692.569950.jpg Last edited by trebor8273; 14th March 2016 at 09:27 PM. |

As for the Coen brothers, they are amongst my favourite filmmakers, and Hail, Caesar! is the best comedy they've made in a long time – probably since O Brother, Where Art Thou? Ralph Fiennes is absolutely superb, and the "Would that it was so simple" scene with him and Alden Ehrenreich had me crying with laughter – the clip below doesn't quite do it justice because the build up and pay off aren't there.

As for the Coens. Some of their stuff is exceptional, Millers Crossing, The Big Lebowski, Fargo. O, Brother Where Art Though however i hated. Found it an unfunny barely watchable mess. |
