Sadly no, but heard rumours that they might be getting a release on blue ray next year. Never had that big of a problem with the special editions its more the extra tinkering Lucas made to the blue ray versions. But happily buy the theatrical versions if they come out, donkey's years since I've seen them.

Now that Disney owns Lucasfilm they probably realise what a money spinner it would be to put out the original trilogy as we all remember them. I don't mind the revised versions apart from that one scene when Han steps on Jabba's tail, I hate that,

Well he had to walk on his tail, if you have seen the feature on that scene as it was original shot with a human actor as jabba and han walks behind him but with jabba size etc he has to step on him. Its the whole "han shoots first scene" I don't like . but they could of easily left the Jabba scene out.

Funnily enough, I bought this on BD at the beginning of the week. It has been years since I saw it, but think I liked it and, for the most part, found it quite powerful.

Yes, it is an extremely powerful and unsettling film. It's one I can see myself wanting to re-watch so will no doubt pick it up at some point.

I bought it from Music Magpie, I think for £2 (2 for £5, then 20% Black Friday discount), which is not a bad price for a film I wasn't 100% sure whether I liked it or not.

Glad you both liked Vinyan. I reviewed it on here a couple of years back after really enjoying it.
