The Doll Squad (1973) A film by Ted V Mikels that may well have been an influence on Charlie's Angels and also Tarantino but that doesn't mean it's any good. Whilst there's action sporadically the rest is extremely dull and to me it's notable only for co-starring Tura Satana. However as far as Mikels films goes this is by far the best, in fact for 15 minutes it's actually hugely enjoyable but then the usual Mikels tropes kick in, ie - he just isn't a very good film maker and it all goes swiftly downhill. |

If old ladies were the criteria then The Tenant would be a top 10 movie. |

I think last night was my fourth time of watching The Doll Squad. I've had it since MIA DVD released it to cash in on Charlie's Angels with this cover The picture quality is very good. I can't imagine spending £6 on the 88 Films dvd and it looking any better. |
