I do love Kate Beckinsale, especially in her Underworld costume

There's something very sexy about her in Love & Friendship as well.

Yes, she's great as Lady Susan, it's a really good film too.

The Carrier 2015

Just watched this film and different to what I thought and expected it to be.

Britain has been gripped by a unexplained plague, a band of survivors on board a 747 seek solace in a area where there is no outbreak.

For a British movie this was a good movie, even though it seems to be a lower budget movie but don't let that put you off. Plenty of tension and some suspense of survival between non infected and the infected and something of sympathy for both parties involved.
7 out of 10.

I loved every over the top, insane moment its like the best OTT 80s action flicks on steroids. But if you never liked the others this isn't going to change your mind. The ultimate popcorn movie and always nice to see Kurt Russell in a role and it does have the rock, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez and Clint's son isn't bad looking. 8/10

Next up tonight either scanners or lord of illusions

Just finished Starship Troopers.
The film is set in a time with a militaristic authoritarian rule who go to war against the alien species the arachnids. the film focuses on Rico, Carmen and Dizz who all sign up to join the federation to gain access to citizenship and are taken to the front lines.
This movie is great, my parents rented this when i was a kid so me and my brother had some stupid sci fi flick to watch. not knowing that this is a rather gory movie, that has hints of satire a lot like Robocop only less subtle about it. the cast is great, the soundtrack is great (hell didn't even realise Fade Into You is playing in the background when Rico and Sander fight). The cgi effects and use of miniatures is great, the gore is also great. although it does slightly take ideas from Full Metal Jacket - however even at that it doesn't truly hinder the film as a whole.
8/10
