I should've done because she was absolutely brilliant, an integral part of the cast and as compelling to watch as the older cast members, so it was an unfortunate omission from a review that, like I said, could've been two or three paragraphs longer.

Death Race 2000

The original one which sees racers go across the U.S.A scoring points for killing people. Done in a somewhat tongue in cheek fashion, it's short but rather entertaining. Stars David Carradine, Sylvester Stallone and Martin Kove.

The Substance

Demi Moore is an aging Actress and Fitness TV Instructor who is going to be fired for being too old by TV Executive played by Dennis Quaid. After a car accident, she ends up taking a experimental drug which allows a younger self to come out of her. But as the younger self becomes a success, things get out of hand as the instructions given are ignored. Well this was rather interesting with some good performances especially from Moore. Think Society meets Basket Case.

Toy Soldiers

Not the 1991 one but the 1984 Film which sees some rich kids get abducted by some rebels in some South American country. When one of them escapes back to America, she raises some funds so she, some other friends and a couple of Mercenaries can go back and rescue them.

Ok, this was decent but you definitely have to not concentrate on the plot holes and how realistic it is. These teens basically outgunned apparently trained rebels, not outsmart them (Like the 1991 Film of the same name). It's short and will serve a purpose for something to watch on a hot day that's don't demanding on the brain. But there are better films of it's ilk out there.

Final Cut

A Bomber has been rigging bombs so it kills the people trying to defuse the bombs. Sam Elliott is the former Bomb Squad leader who gets brought in to catch the Bomber but is framed himself. It's not bad but again there's better out there when it comes to repeat viewing, but as a first time watch, it kept me enthralled.

The Champions

A Farmer becomes a Footballer but encounters a arrogant rival player and match fixing. Quite entertaining with some funny moments. Quite a weak 18 certificate film even though there's a scene of a man on fire.

Kids vs Aliens

A spin off film from the VHS franchise, I've only seen 2 but there are quite a few now and one has just been released this year,
A young girl looking after her younger brother and friends because their parents don't care and are away, while they're away they're making a video film of them wrestling, and she falls in love with the local bully,
he eventually persuades her to hold a party, what could go wrong?
Well, everything tbh then Aliens show up and things become worse,
A total B that wouldn't be out of place as total cheese-fest from the 80s,
Everything about this is bad even the Aliens, it would be good as a fun movie for kids if it wasn't for f•cking this f@cking that literally every sentence, its roughly 75 min long and must have the f—k word at least 200 times.
Despite how bad it is its fun to watch even as one of.

I see Terrifier 3 has gone straight to the top of the US box office on it's first week of release making $18.3m on a budget of $2m.

Inside a high rise office block a very dangerous hostage situation is on the cusp of turning into a bloodbath if the terrorists demands are not met. With time running out and so many innocent lives on the line the authorities have no choice but to call in a group of cybernauts knows as the T-Force. What should be a routine outing for the T-Force things go sideways when the leader decides to murder everyone in the building and going against the reason they were built in the first place to protect the innocent. The mayor has had enough of these robots and orders that the program is shut down and the cybernauts are melted down but before this can happen three of the four T-Force members decide to go rouge and remove the authority that plans to destroy them. The fourth member decides to take the right path and teams up with a very reluctant human cop to stop the annihilation of good.

T-Force gets off to a great start with an explosive opener tons of explosions people getting thrown through windows which happens a lot throughout the course of the film these cycbernauts do not like glass no sir not only are they on a mission to destroy humans but their side objective seems to be to remove all glass from the planet . Sadly after such an action packed start things slow down and we are thrown into a buddy cop sub plot its the cliche a cop who works alone but is forced to work this case with someone he hates as we eventually discover he hates robots because a robot stole his daddies job years ago .

The acting is terrible the story is a total cliche the action is entertaining well sort of .This isn't a so bad its good this is a so bad its bad its hard to recommend honestly but saying that its on youtube and they do cut out and swear words and the nudity is actually blurred out which is hilarious and i suppose its worth it just to see how badly done that is. Designer beards and sexy hair cant say this one.

The highlight for me was Vernon Wells who is always entertaining but sadly he is only at the start of the film.

Netforce

A Government Agency assigned to regulating the Internet investigate the killing their boss and a plot to take over control of the Internet. Scott Bakula stars in a Film that apparently was a 2 part series or maybe a pilot for a TV Show. It was ok but the main villain was obvious.

Ice

Traci Lords gets caught inbetween criminal gangs after she steals diamonds from one of them. Again it's ok but Lords is not main star material (In mainstream films)

Bloody Judge

Christopher Lee excels as the strict judge who loves making Prisoners suffer. Must admit I was expecting more from this one, it was rather tame other than for a very few moments.

Mr Majestyk

Charles Bronson is a Melon Farmer who gets arrested and ends up battling a Hitman when they escape. Really enjoyed this, not as violent as I imagined it would be.

Saw Howling II last night. A young man finds his dead sister was infected by werewolves - and isn't dead - and teams up with a young female reporter and an obessive werewolf hunter to track down the culprits and destroy them. This notorious mid80s sequel has quite the lousy rep but honestly I had a lot of fun with it. It's well directed with a nicely spooky atmosphere and lots of werewolf action. The young leads are pretty bland but Christopher Lee carries the movie as the single-minded werewolf slayer. Underrated campy 80s fun. I'll take this over the Terrifier films or the latest Bumhouse fart any day.

TEENAGE MONSTER (1957)

A meteorite hits the ground and kills Anne Gwynne's husband and disfigures and ages her young son.
Seven years later, the son is now fully grown and looking like a wolfman.
Keeping him hidden away, Anne's son has a habit of murdering folk..

The movie did the rounds with 'The Brain From Planet Arous' and as it is, it's the usual drive-in fare. The monster make up reminds us of 'The Mad Monster' (1942). Enjoyable for what it is and it's always nice to see Anne Gwynne.

King Kong (1933)

The daddy of all giant monster movies, so brilliantly created that it's lost none of it's charm or indeed suspense - The fight between Kong and the T-Rex during the jungle chase is still brilliant - with Willis O'Brien's stop motion effects stunning for their time and still something quite wonderful to behold with the giant ape given genuine personality especially in it's eyes.

A film that promised audiences a giant monster and they sure as shit got one.

I was really impressed with the Blu-ray image on this. I wasn't sure how the fX work would hold up but it's terrific. There's real depth to the fighter plane attack on Kong during the finale with the model work seamless against the cityscape. Stunning all told.
