Snuff. 1975.

The exploits of a cult leader and his biker gang who go on a rampage.

Ok if you watch this and expect it was filmed like POV then you will be disappointed. The acting throughout the film is awful, everyone just seems to be a bit wooden. The delivery of the dialogue can put a glass eye to sleep. Just when you think it may get interesting and then it shifts to going back to near boredom. However everything always happens at the last 15-20 minutes and then it all happens in one go with the blood and guts. Labled as a video nasty, this sent everyone into shockwaves with the title and the content but I didn't really enjoy this one.

If I remember correctly it was titled Slaughter, it was panned and bombed, someone else bought the rights retitled it snuff and added the ending to look like a snuff film.

I've had a afternoon of American high school / college gang style films.

One of the most famous ones,
class of 1984, then
tuff turf, and
3::15 time to die,
I enjoy these type of films fun and entertaining to watch in a roundabout way. 80s was full of these style of films.
All recommended.

The Mummy's Ghost (1944)

The fourth film in the regular Universal Mummy series. Lon Chaney plays Kharis the mummy once more in this the second of three sequels to The Mummy's Hand (1940) and he features quite heavily which is always welcome and definitely adds to the appeal.

The Mummy's Ghost is of interest for me because of an appearance by George Zucco, the fine character actor from Lancashire, as the Egyptian high priest and John Carradine as Yousef Bey the sinister controller of Kharis the mummy.

Whilst the film fails to break any new ground and was almost certainly just seen as a programmer with it's slight 61 minute run time there's little in the way of filler and the story fairly zips along.

Both good films,
3:15 Time to Die, stars Deborah Foreman, Ed Lauter, and Mario van Peebles.

Tuff Turf stars James Spader and Robert Downey Jr.
Both on youtube, they are decent pics 80s style. So not dvd or Blu-ray quality.

Devil's Honey as to be one of the biggest disappointments, Fulci, Italian and a write up that makes it more graphic than 50 Shades Of Grey.

Bloody Moon

Jess Franco's attempt at a Slasher Movie is a slow and boring mess. Basically girls at a Boarding School For Languages (Yes I Know) are picked off by a killer. Can not see myself watching this again, my average Slash Movies I own are much better than this.

Liquid Dreams

A futuristic neo-noir (I've seen it described as) effort which sees a woman finding her Sister dead at her Apartment and basically goes undercover as a Dancer at a club in order to find out what happened.

I watch old Trailer Reels that appeared on VHS Rentals on Youtube and the Trailer for this appeared and at the beginning, it looked like I made an interesting discovery but alas it runs out of steam. Not as sleazy as it appears but a credible attempt, just couldn't maintain.

Agreed. I was really disappointed by it too. I thought Touch of Death was great fun. That was another i'd never seen before buying the Blu.
