Just watched the first two episodes of "The Owl Service", made in 1969 and carrying a 12 cert today. It's a weird mix of awakening teen sexuality, Welsh myth and freakadelica/post hippy images. For fans of: "The Wicker Man", "Children of the Stones", "Raven" and the whole, newly defined school of Weird Britain that mixes, strange music, folk beliefs, heathenism and a general sense of Wyrd.

Anyone else shed a nostalgic tear of joy when they hear this?

I'd forgotten about it until the other day when I saw Hobo With a Shotgun where it plays over the end credits.

I loved Tarzan Lord of the Jungle. A superb cartoon, he used to fight aliens, monsters everything really.
