Default bad films

a film is only truly terrible if it is'nt entertaining or thought provoking in some way, i love a lot of films that fit the so bad they are good category, the type where everyone has tried their best or been totally self deluded and would'nt be too happy if they heard me laughing at their efforts. Theres a lot hit award winning films that put me to sleep. As for Ed Wood a lot of hit films around the time have slid into obscurity while Ed WOOD lives forever.

I like ed wood, i like MANOS enough to get the 2-disc special edition, and i'm I sucker for anything with the names claudio fragrasso or bruno mattai attached yet I hat the slickly produced music videos that pass for modern action movies (and horror) go figure.

Well, since the last decent modern horror film i saw was Martyrs, i canonly agree.

if anyone noticed (or cared) the awful '90s Haunting desecration was on tv recently. i was bemoaning this fact when an aquaintence piped up with the statement "yeah, well i thought it was a really good film".

The court case is on monday.

Im pleading temporary insanity.

Default The WORST movies you've ever seen list

We all have them. Movies that made us feel physicaly ill watching them, or ashamed we even spent our time investing in them. Movies you honestly feel don't desserve the following they have or display the worst excesis in humanity possible. To counter balance the fave films thread, I noticed a number of films that others loved but I disliked intensly (The Raid, for example). So here's the top ten movies that I honestly have no intention of giving a second chance. But I suggest anyone who wishes to contribute there list, make sure you watched the film through. Like criticising a film I believe some think your judgement of it is invalid if you did not see all of it.

Ken Park is incredibly sad, but a great film.

I watched it back in the day in my last school year. Apart from Kids, no film ever portrayed this (our? my?) ****ed-up generation better.

The meaning of life - forget it! There is none. Just try to enjoy the few boring and crappy days that are left.

The Hangover. Just horrible, nasty, hateful, misogynistic, blokey, cunty, unfunny awfulness. Hated the film and the characters so much. Nothing else has bothered me to that extent.

Edit: oh forgot I also had to sit through The Hangover 2. Same adjectives but also add 'racist' and 'homophobic'

Maybe Ken Park requires another viewing because, for all intents and purpoises, I should find it tought proviking and right up my ally.

Dogma I found to be horribly written and just completely tactless. But as above maybe. It was several months ago and I watched the two in quick succesion after high praise.

About a Boy is just utter bilge though that I can't bare to stomach.

I've seen The Hangover but can't remember a thing about it.
