The grindhouse version has lots of extras and a commentary plus the kids animal slaughter free cut but the last road to hell is missing some fottage.
The ECC ultrabit has different extras, no commentary, has the full last road to hell.
If your a fan you need both if not the GH disk will do

Has anyone got this release -

Never seen the Deathstalker movies and I've always been interested. The first was on the horror channel Friday night but for some reason didn't record. Either way could anyone suggest the best release to pick up?

That is a great release. Although I enjoyed the first Deathstalker film, the sequel is much more fun because it is so very irreverent. I liked the score featured on the sequel too

Highly recommended.

The films all look better than ever before and there are loads of extras for the two Death Stalker films.

Personally i'd go for cut UK release with its faded pan and scanned print.

As far as i'm aware its the best release. I don't trawl through obscure European websites though.

Here's a link to my stills from Barbarian Queen. http://www.cult-labs.com/forums/gene...tml#post225611

Its the only release available. A Sony disc. If you like the film then no other option really.

The UK disc from DD is on Amazon but it's stupid money. I've never seen the film so it's a blind buy but it's one ive been wanting to check out for years.
