The Da Vinci Code was okay, i thought Angels and Demons was very good as does this third Robert Langdon film, Inferno.

Looks like Lionsgate have pulled off one of the biggest coups in cinema history (as the article puts it). It's been revealed at SDCC that the upcoming film The Woods, is in fact called Blair Witch. As you guessed it, a follow up to The Blair Witch Project.

'The Woods' is Actually 'BLAIR WITCH'! (Trailer and Poster) #SDCC
More found footage, shaky-cam, running around in the (almost) dark!

At least 'Book Of Shadows' tried something new

Here's a bit more info about the movie - [Review] ‘Blair Witch’ is a Horror Game-changer That Will Completely Wreck You

I think it's more like the 2nd film tbh, I'm not sure there will be a lot of point of view stuff with people with the cameras.

Oh, and the first film is awful.

I love The Blair Witch Project – it's one of the most effective horror films of recent times – but thought the sequel was rubbish. I hope this is really is as scary as the first film but, because the 'shaky cam' found footage films have been done to death, it's a situation where I'll hope for the best and expect the worst.

Sounds intriguing.

I like the idea of using sound as horror. The first two films were both excellent in that. The first in it's atmospherics the second in it's Goth / rock / industrial soundtrack.
