For me, the most exciting up and coming film is Danny Boyle's T2 Trainspotting 2. I'm a big fan of the original and I have full confidence in Danny Boyle not to discredit it. The film comes out 2 weeks from today and as Boyle has excellent taste in music, the soundtrack should be quite exciting to check out. I probably won't go the cinema to see it (I VERY rarely go nowadays) but will pick it up on blu-ray day one.

Think most people are looking forward to this, i very rarely go cinema nothing excites me enough to go, But might make a exception for this, im going to enjoy it for what it is and not try to compare it to the original like most ppl probably would.

I think he means he trusts him to not to retroactively ruin the original by making a shit sequel.

My mistake. I seem to have misread his post and thought he said he didn't trust Danny Boyle to direct it! Oops.

I also have confidence that Danny Boyle will not trample on the memory of Trainspotting with a vastly inferior sequel.
