I bet the poster is far better than the film itself.

Poster is awesome! (It's essentially the poster for House 1&2). Quite liked insidious 1&2, haven't seen 3 yet, might just wait until they've definately stopped & get a box set.

The cast for Disney's live-action version of The Lion King has been announced. I'm not as downbeat on the idea as I was.

Any idea how this will be live action?

It's not like lions are the greatest actors.

It's a genuine question. I had no idea about it until now.

I'm guessing it will be done with motion capture, similar to the recent Planet of the Apes films and how Dan Stevens was turned into a Beast for the Beauty and the Beast live action film.

That's not really live action though. It's CGI surely which isn't that far from animation.

It will be interesting however they do it.

Do they really need to make it? The Lion King is as good as modern Disney gets.

I suppose Beauty and the Beast being such a hit made it sort of inevitable.

I don't think they need to do it but, if this year's Beauty and the Beast film is anything to go by, it will be very good.

Great minds think alike!

It could be similar to Jon Favreau's The Jungle Book, which I enjoyed much more on second viewing at home than when I saw it at the cinema.
