And so it begins...

Terrifier 3 slammed for controversial child scene / Gaming Bible

"The first full-length trailer has dropped for Terrifier 3, the next part of a trilogy soaked in blood and caked in gore.

The Terrifier series isn?t one to shy away from controversy, if anything the creators revel in it, pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable.

However, the trailer is facing fierce backlash due to what appears to be a scene involving the murder of a child.

This is heavily implied, but of course, until we see the full film it's hard to know what Art the Clown will actually do.

This hasn't stopped some on social media from calling out the film. One user on Twitter posted, "If it is what I think it is, you're disgusting for wanting to watch it."

They go on to say that the Terrifier films are all about gore and "IF YOURE WATCHING THIS F*CKING MOVIE KNOWING DAMN WELL A CHILD MAY GET TORTURED AND KILLED VIOLENTLY, PLEASE BLOCK ME."... "

Hmmm - what more recommendation do we need !!!

Damien Leone will be laughing his head off with this free publicity especially with this one costing a massive $2m to make.

The second film took over $15m and was only released in the US supposedly for one week until demand led it to be in cinemas three weeks.

This third film is getting international cinema distribution so will probably do even better. It opens here on October 25th.

Meanwhile i see The remake of The Crow has royally tanked. Taking just $13m worldwide in two weeks against a budget of $50m

Jo-Ann Titmarsh at 'The Standard' didn't think much of 'Joker: Folie a deux' when it was screened at the Venice Film Festival

Film review: depressingly dull and plodding

2* / 5*
