Bring on Terrifier 3. At least it's not a sodding remake.

I don't think David Soul and James Mason would have anything to worry about with that version of Salem's Lot.

I agree with you Dem, two part mini series into a film that will last under 2 hours...insulted.

Barely cold from the projection booth from its premiere at Fantastic Fest, it was announced Terrifier 3 will get another sequel. During a Q&A at the screening, director Damien Leone told the crowd, ?Yes there will be a Terrifier 4.?

The Terrifier fanbase has grown exponentially since it started in 2016, most notably because of its protagonist Art the Clown played by David Howard Thornton. That character has been given honorary admission by fans into the Big Three: Freddy, Jason, and Michael.

Terrifier 3 has already gotten great word of mouth from Fantastic Fest-goers. Some have said the story is convoluted and hard to follow, but that is all part of the fun. What they like more is the over-the-top gore setpieces done by Leone who is not only a director but a practical effects master.

Audiences will be able to see a second screening of the film at Fantastic Fest next Tuesday. The rest of the world will be able to see it for themselves when it releases in theaters on October 11.

Maika Monroe is set to lead the upcoming remake of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle for 20th Century Studios. Directed by Michelle Garza Cervera, the film reimagines the 1992 psychological thriller, which originally starred Rebecca De Mornay as a disturbed nanny who infiltrates a family with sinister intentions. Monroe, known for her breakout role in It Follows, will take on the lead role of the manipulative nanny in this highly anticipated remake

Probably the wrong place to post this, but...

In the grand tradition of William Castle

You have certainly posted a lot about this upcoming film, gag also.

Did you actually enjoy the first two films?

I did

For me, they are the next step up for the extreme horror films I used to love in the 80's - the films that pushed the envelope as far as they could go

The 'Terrifier' films are so over the top and offensively violent there is absolutely no way anyone could take them seriously. They are a true roller-coaster ride (for people who don't like going on roller-coasters) !

Great stuff, we think alike here.

Here's to pushing the boat out even further following the bed scene in Terrifier 2.
