I'm one of those who prefers the sequel, loving the subversive Dr Pretorius and his many vices, but the original film is a masterpiece of horror.

I just watched the better of the 2 80's vampire flicks The Lost Boys which is definitely my last films of the Halloween season as I'm going out in an hour! Putting The Lost Boys is like setting a time machine back to my early teens, it always reminds me of my friends at school and talking about it in the yard. We all loved it, we all quoted it at each other endlessly. It still holds up, and it's put me in a great mood "Death by stereo!"

Dracula down. I'll watch AVGN's Halloween episode and break for dinner.

A damning indictment of the westernisation of mainstream British cinema and home cinema – there isn't a single one which isn't in the English language.
