The way David Howard Thornton switches between darkly humorous to murderous rage without saying a word, is done well with Damien Leone's direction and creativity by the actor himself makes Arty a great villain.

A Nightmare On Elm Street. 1984.

Wes Craven created a new horror movie character with Robert Englund bringing the character to life with his portrayal as Freddy Krueger. Heather Langenkamp is the young heroine trying to stop her friends being killed in their sleep and John Saxon as the father and copper who believes the serial killer Is dead until seeing is believing. A great classic film from our childhood that still holds up even though the dialogue is a bit cheesy at times.
