Hear hear!

One of those rare films that SUCCESSFULLY manages to blend shocks and humour.

Plus, as blu said, Jenny Agutter, who generally makes a film worth watching! It is an absolutely brilliant film that never tires with repeated viewings. The recent Blu-ray is an almost essential purchase.

Jenny Agutter and Linzi Drew-what more could you want?

I watched the BD recently and thought it was fantastic. The commentary with Naughton and Dune is a hoot!

They certainly rate Agutter highly!

So, Reaper, you asked one of the ultimate lycanthropic questions:
The Howling or An American Werewolf in London?

As much as I like Joe Dante's werewolf film, I'd have to go for John Landis' movie.

Noses Dante's beast.Just.

It's genuinely funny as well as scary, and I can't recall a film that's ever managed to mix the two so well.....

An American Werewolf in London for me, Love Dante's flick, but Landis just kills the mix of horror and comedy and it works much better.

Gotta give props to Bad Moon, Silver Bullet and Dog Soldiers though...

Bad Moon is superb, very near the top of the pile, prefer it to the Howling.

I rate Wolfen very highly, not your typical werewolf film.
