Well that's a start Masdawg.

Came across two pretty awesome zombie related things on the interwebs tonight.

1) Cong Of The Dead - Imagine an stop-motion animation grindhouse film that's a cross between Apocalypse Now and Dawn of the Dead and you'll have something similar to this:

2) MTV Zombies Used In Anti-Smoking Campaign

Yep, MTV are getting all PC here with zombie themed shorts that show the dangers of smoking. Sure it's pure propaganda, but it's fun as hell! Here's just one of them:

For more info check out - AdFreak: Smoking likened to being eaten by zombies

That is so cool, Pedro! Excellent find There's been quite a lot of interactive things happening lately. Perhaps it's the future of film - rather than 3D. Seems possible.

Here's a few zombie related things that have caught my eye recently;

1) It Came From The West - if anyone remembers, I posted some news on this thread a while ago about a Dutch zombie short. Not only is it a western zombie film BUT also a zombie western...with puppets!!!!!!!!! Oh yes! And you can watch it free online here -

The Bloody Zombie Western: A Zany High-Powered Puppet Zombie Western « Et Cetera: Publick and Privat Curiosities

I'm hoping for a feature length version of this.

2) The University of Baltimore are going to be running a course about zombies! Why the hell don't I live in Baltimore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3) The Resident Evil: Afterlife Tokyo premiere:

4) Some EXCELLENT zombie t-shirts -

5) I went to the world premiere of the Ford Brother's zombie masterpiece, The Dead - here's my review of it:

Here's something interesting:

Eaters! Anyone heard about this? It's an upcoming ITALIAN zombie film! Woo! Perhaps this could be the birth of a new Italian zombie boom? Then again, Uwe Boll is attached to it, so mmm.

Here's the website: EATERS - The Movie.

I'm also thinking of starting up a zombie devoted blog. Full of the latest zombie-related news, reviews of books/games/films/music/misc and...bascially EVERYTHING zombie related.

Would anyone be interested in doing this together? It could be quite fun.

not to fussed on the over use of blue screen to be honest, but it might be alright. i think films shot entirely on blue screen, with the exception of Sky Captain, tend to look very fake.

we need an original zombie film to come out, everyone of them are the same these days and rely heavily on comedy which i've found. Looking forward to the Horde as it's released on my 27th birthday, but that's apparently unoriginal.

you seen any recent zombie films that you can recommend kyle...
here's some of my recommendations for you and the rest...

The Dead outside
ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction
PontyPool
Dead Air
Dance of The Dead
