...Not entirely Zombie related, but they have also released a "Movies" mini-range, with quite a few good cult horror movie figurines!

I did PM Kyle when I had more info, but he also suggested I post the links on this thread as more people may be interested, so here's the message I sent Kyle, complete with all links:

Hey Kyle!
As promised, here is an update on those "Dawn Of The Ted" figurines
Here's a flyer advertising the whole first set
Also, check out the Oddco blog for a daily "Diary Of The Ted" and a poster you may enjoy...
Cheers mate!

Appologies it's taken almost a month for me to re-post this here Kyle...I've kept meaning to do it, but seem to either be working or sleeping these days...oh, and I occasionally eat too...just not brains

Here's some VERY cool, nearly EXCLUSIVE and VERY exciting zombie news!

Yours truly, Iluvdvds, is organizing a ZOMBIE WALK through Norwich around this Halloween! Oh yes, that's right. Last week I was away at Norwich where I met up with someone who organizes the city's events and said that it would be fine to do. HORRAY! So, I'm hoping it'll all go fine and that the weather doesn't screw it up!

I'm also going to be doing it for a charity too (I haven't picked one yet, I've asked the other members of the UEA Horror Soc to choose) so it should be fun. A whole load of zombies strolling through Norwich city.

If anyone's near Norwich, Norfolk, would like to support us or you're just interested in seeing whether this will actually work or fall flat on it's decomposing face head over to the event's page now - Login | Facebook

I'm hoping your trip to Norwich wasn't a holiday.

I'm from Ipswich originally. Shouldn't have much trouble finding Zombies in Norwich...

Well it was kinda(ish) but not really. Yep.

Ah yeah, there's tonnes, Blob. Norwich can be a very strange place.

But any help would be brilliant!

Also, in other news, check out this new online zombie game. Don't go Zombie... Go Virgin Trains

Basically, you enter your postcode (or a postcode) and, using google maps, it'll take you there (street view) and you have to make your way to certain location shooting the hordes of zombies. It's great, even if it is an advertisement for Virgin Trains (you use a ticket gun!). It's great fun!

ALSO,

1) The metal band The Devil Wears Prada are releasing an album very shortly all about zombies! With a 'state-the-obvious' album title, Zombie, tells the story of a group of survivors up against a zombie apocalypse. According to their site, the preorder will also come with a zombie comic book! If heavy music if your cuppa tea, you'll probably 'dig' this.

Check out the first song here on YouTube; Outnumbered -

2) A truly amazing zombie picture is floating around the internet lately. It's a depiction of a zombie war from the hit book World War Z which is getting the film treatment too.

I would have embeded the picture here, but it's too damn big, and wouldn't have shown it's pure awesomeness. It's currently my wallpaper.

3) I think someone on the Horror Games thread mentioned how they would luv to play the original Dawn Of The Dead game. It may have been me, now that I think about it. Anyways, here's a site where you can download a copy of the game. Just download it, print it out and stick it cardboard and bob's your uncle. According to the site, it's more or less in the public domain now due to it's availability (it's OOP).

Here it is...http://www.homepageofthedead.com/games/dbg.html

Thought you might like this T-Shirt I saw on Threadless.
It's out of print at the moment, but if enough people request they re-print it, it may very well get re-printed!

(they re-printed a Reservoir Dogs themed shirt I was interested in a while ago, so they DO reprint them!
Hmmm... I still havnt got around to getting one of those shirts yet either...)

I admit to seeing this when it first came out. Not sure that I was on this forum then. I got the reprinted Tron shirt. They work out a bit pricey when shipping is included but there's a pretty good guarantee that no-one in your neighbourhood is wearing the same shirt.

@ILUV: WWZ has been having a bit of trouble sue to re-writes and director Marc Foster taking on other jobs, apparently it's back on track now as Brad Pitt's Plan B production company has the rights and have put this as a Priority film.

The Image you posted is from last year when the film was a go-ahead, it's a pretty damn good piece of Pre-Production art and im guessing it's taken from The War on The Home Front section of the book....
