It is a great film, although a lot of people don't consider it 'horror' so may not have voted for it for this reason.

Also, I'm surprised to see Dark Water so high up in the rankings.
I loved it the only time i watched it.

I must revisit it.

That's cool, to be honest i saw Les Diabolique in the list and i like that film but i didn't think of that as horror otherwise i would have voted for that.

Watch the Sharon Stone version.

Even scarier.

I'm not a huge fan myself, although it has its merits.

It's about the only on of the j-Horrors I could actually engage with and connected with me from all the ones from the early 2000's.

Much better than the Ring in my opinion. I really grew to care about what happened to the mother and child towards the end. That last scene in the lift genuinely nearly moved me to tears.

In my opinion, The Silence of the Lambs is unquestionably a horror film due to the content, theme and imagery.

Les Diabolique is another I completely forgot about when compiling my list – it will be on next year's.

A nice surprise to see Candyman so high in the list I didn't expect it to be in the top half.

The more I look back over the list the more films I'm kicking myself that I didn't have in my own list. Can we do our top 200 next time

The next 10 are up... great to see films such as I Walked with a Zombie, Witchfinder General, Martin, and Possession place so highly.

Plus, it's surprising to see The Thing (a film often found in the top 10 in these kind of lists) place lower.
