No not quite Gor. Although it does contain some very strong violence, especially the last murder where a woman is tied to a tree and brutally stabbed (cut completely by the BBFC) and an earlier bedroom stabbing where a woman is wearing a pigs mask (again the whole scene completely removed in the UK DVD). it still doesn't quite compare with Murder Set Pieces. The film doesn't contain any sexual violence or disturbing scenes involving children. Even so Nutbag will never be passed uncut over here. It's also a shoddy piece of film making as well. Absolutely dire. |

The sickest films I've probably seen are some of Toetag's output, namely the August Underground films. Also, more obscure titles such as the German Splatter film Das Komabrutale Duell, banned in it's native Germany and only available (I think) on the US's Unearthed label are just constructed for gore and gore alone and are pretty sick - but hard to take seriously due to 'story-lines' involved. I watched the Japanese Red Room 2 the other night, and there were a couple of sick scenes in that - particularly a part where a woman has her unborn foetus ripped from her body. No-one quite does gore like the Japanese... Another strange film, which is not gory, nor a horror film but does contain a couple of sick moments (particularly the 'eating contest' scenes) is György Pálfi's Taxidermia. I made the mistake of making myself a sandwich while watching this one... not recommended! |

Anyone seen Shane Mather's Fantacide? Supposed to be one of the most extreme films ever made. Just wondering if that was true. There is a UK DVD complete with the directors commentary but it has never been submitted to the BBFC, from what I have heard the director doesn't want the film to be cut and cuts to this film would have to be quite extensive. Sounds like he has taken the unrated option ![]() |

I really can't believe that no one has mentioned Cannibal, the film by Marion Dora. This is the ONLY film so far that i haven't been able to watch and had to turn off. it's the one about the German Cannibals that contains real footage. I found all 3 August Underground films boring and not disturbing or entertaining at all. But haven't seen Snuff 102 and this has just gone straight to the top of my wants list Alex |
