Mate craved his Salome's Last Dance, finally got a greek dvd? cost her quite a bit as well, but it is completely hatstand as they say. anyone seen The Rainbow btw? it is a national shame that he isnt making decent budget films any more instead of workmanlike shite like Love, Moran , Ritchie. i despair. |

Yeah, Russell's filmography in the later years is a minefield to navigate thru... the last thing I saw of his was Whore, after that things get ever so desperate. I agree with Hamish, he was a film maker who was left fall into disrepair, although he says as much in his Altered States / A British Picture book (which I would highly recommend you seek out), finding himself a pariah after the failure of Valentino...
