To be honest, Mother of Tears is far from being one of Argento's best works. But I totally agree with Reaps - compared to most recent so-called Horror films, the final chapter of Dario's "Three Mothers" is actually quite enjoyable.

I really like it.

MOT

The expectation was high
but the gates were low
The weight narrowed our vision?
Regardless as entertainment
It is very funny.

It's got some cracking gore and great hokum dialogue/scenes. what's everybody's thoughts on the sacrilegious remake of Suspiria? All I know is that if it's a turd, it won't matter how fast Tilda's broomstick is, I'll be choking her with her own intestines.

I saw it this morning, but after I read it I didn't see the point in posting seeing as the article doesn't really give any info other than Dario saying he's working on 2 horror projects

Ever since I found out that it will be conventially shot (without using a strong colour pallete), I've lost all interest in it. The colours were a significant part of Suspiria's greatness. Pointless, and very misjudged, to do a remake without them.

Not just that, the sound design and score from Goblin played a huge part too, but I'm willing to give it a shot even if I'm already expecting to be disappointed

I would imagine biting your own balls off would be less painful than wincing through that monstrosity.
