Soz if this is old news and I'm late to the party (as usual), but am I the only one to accidentally trip over Blue Underground's Blu-ray release of ZOMBI? Just put AWE's 'House on the Edge of the Park' in my ebay basket and spotted the same seller selling ZOMBI. Checked it out on BU site to make sure I wasn't imagining it : ZOMBIE (2-Disc Ultimate Edition) (Blu-ray) by Blue Underground, directed by Lucio Fulci (The Beyond) and there it is, just a fortnight old. Obviously my ebay basket is now plus two. Eye trauma in glorious hi-def. Oo baby...

Just saw Blue Underground's release of Conquest. What a terrible movie! It looked like an Albert Pyun movie with extra baby oil on the lens and lots of smoke.

But it does have dog-men playing wishbone with a semi-naked cave girl, so it's not all bad.
Just mostly.

Mind you, I still bought it

Ah I dunno, I like it, I must say...its a great film to watch after a smoke... The baby oil thing reminded me of Altman's black sheep sci-fi film Quintet, which looks like vaseline was smeared around the lens of the camera. An odd movie...

Anyone with a good word on Murder-rock ? I've always been intruiged by this movie but scared off by Keith Emerson's score...

Murder Rock is excellent IMO - it's really well shot and has some good performances. Easily Fulci's most underrated movie.
