That's a much better result than anyone was expecting and, if it wasn't for Shameless' appeal, there would have been another scene cut out. The one in question is pretty nasty and uncomfortable to watch but, give it 10 years and it'll probably be uncut -- a decade ago the BBFC insisted on 11 minutes of cuts!

I already have an uncut DVD so I won't be waiting 10 years either. I was just guessing that in a decade or less films like this will be available uncut in the UK.
